How I Turned My Life Around
The Narconon program is made up of a series of steps designed to help a person feel better physically, mentally and emotionally.
The Narconon program is a journey of self-discovery and self-improvement.
Below one of our graduates shares what his perspective upon completing the program and beginning a drug-free life.

“Here at Narconon Colorado I completely turned my life around. When I arrived I couldn’t sit still or look anyone in the eyes. When I went through the Withdrawal Stage, I was extremely upset. I had spent many years using from the moment I got up to the moment I laid down, and suddenly I wasn’t able to do that anymore, but after 5 days I was ready for the next step of the program.
For the next month I fought this place but finally I quit fighting and found everything to be different than I perceived. After the New Life Detox, I felt 100% better; I no longer felt like an addict. When I got to Objectives I learned how to control myself and my environment. Then in Life Skills Courses, I learned about the people in my life, let go of some of the stuff I was carrying around for years and made a solid plan.
I am now at a point in my life I never thought I would see myself. I am genuinely happy now.”

My New Sober Life
An important aspect of maintaining a sober lifestyle is setting and achieving goals in different areas of one’s life. The hard work doesn’t stop when someone leaves treatment; this is actually the time when it is important to apply the skills that were learned during one’s program. One of our recent graduates shares the goals he has been working on since completing his time at Narconon.
I Have Learned That Sobriety Is an Amazing Thing
I am 34 months sober! I came from a society where partying was the norm. I started drinking alcohol when I was fifteen years old and as time went on, I started dabbling in drugs.
