Learning to Deal with Problems

Perhaps one of the most important aspects of getting and staying sober is gaining the ability to face problems and deal with them in a constructive manner. A common aspect of addiction is the inability to effectively handle life on life’s terms. When a person increases their ability to properly handle problems and uncomfortable situations that may arise they also increase their ability to stay sober.

“I am thankful for this program and how it has changed my life for the better. I have learned how to deal with problems I’m having and how to deal with them in the proper manner. I know now that I have the proper skills to live a happy sober life. This program also has shown me that I am needed in this world for my wife and kids. I can also control my temper and give people a chance to show me things that will better my way of living and help show me there is life after you have tried to destroy it.”
