Doing the Life Skills course Overcoming Ups and Downs, I learned a lot about people in my life. I should take the tools I have learned and break free from a lot of those people. I feel like doing the Overcoming Ups and Downs will help me in my future with people I put in my life. Everyone is very helpful. At first, it was not easy, but during the end, it all came together.”

Overall, my success story on Overcoming Ups and Downs was very good. I learned a lot about people and who I need to cut off and keep in my life. I learned a lot about people’s personality traits and what social and anti-social traits are. I am very happy overall about completing this part of the program.

I thought this exercise would be a lot easier than it was. I was able to take a solid look at my history and how I treated my body for the last 20 years. I can see how this process is necessary to move forward. I truly feel like I am unloading the baggage that I’ve always carried with me. Though writing down my transgressions is challenging, the rewards will be worth it.”  (Sommer is on the Personal Values course.)

What I’ve gotten thus far from Changing Conditions in Life is that I have to be aware of my state of existence at all times. By being aware of what state I am in, I will be able to correct and change the conditions of my life to make my state of existence better.
