Moving Forward

Content woman

It can be very difficult to confront the past and to take responsibility for one’s transgressions. Many times people will avoid doing this at high costs. Although it is not an easy thing to do, it is a very cathartic process that can provide a large sense of relief. In the Personal Values Course students are provided an opportunity to examine their past misdeeds in order to learn and grow from them and by doing so it becomes easier to let go of the guilt that often accompanies these memories.

Overall I feel a huge weight being lifted off my shoulders. I had a lot of things I did in my life that I was scared to confront and admit that I did. Now, I can move forward in my life.”
