Learning From Past Mistakes

Young woman

The Personal Values Course not only aims to help individuals establish their own morals and values, but it also gives students the opportunity to take responsibility for past misdeeds in order to learn from them. The process isn’t always easy but when done right many people often feel a sense of relief after going through it. One of the things that can fuel an addiction is the sense of guilt that comes from past mistakes which is why taking responsibility for and learning from these mistakes is such an important step towards putting them in the past and moving forward.

“I never thought writing up all the things I’ve done wrong in my life would help me, but it really made me examine my actions and learn what not to do in my new and clean life. Admitting my wrongdoings has made me be able to be at ease with myself, and made me see when I was even lying to myself and how to fix it. I’ve never really experienced this feeling of relief before, and it’s amazing. I can’t wait to start my new year off with a new clean slate and a new found peace within myself.”
